Burnley Cine Society began in August 1931 when a group of keen local amateur film makers began making films of life and events in Burnley in the early Thirties. These films were shown in local cinemas and drew large audiences. By 1938 some of these films were produced in colour using the new Kodak process. These 'lost' films made in the Thirties and onwards are part of our towns heritage and we would love to see them and make them available to a new modern audience. We are appealing for anyone to get in touch with Burnley Film Makers via our website contact form if they possess or know of the whereabouts of any old cine films of Burnley. M
any thanks for your help!
