Burnley Film Makers new season starts on Wednesday the 9th of September at 7:30PM at Higham Village Hall. For the first session bring along any films you have made or are working on, on a USB in .mp4 and we will screen them. Subs remain unchanged for 2026-27. Annual Membership is £22 and £2 per weekly session. Students get a discounted fee. If you are a newcomer, it is FREE for the first THREE sessions. It is with great sadness to report that our former Chairman, Treasurer, Competitions and Festival Organiser Ron Harrison, passed away earlier this morning. Many of our members and followers will know Ron and the many years of support he gave Burnley Film Makers. We would like to pass on our respects to Ron's family at this very sad time.

Peter Grice, one of Burnley Film Makers longest running members passed away in hospital on Saturday the 4th of July. Peter was an engineer in the toolroom at Lucas Electrical and was a member of BFM since the 1980s. He had been poorly for a while and its sad to report the passing of one of our our oldest members, a smashing bloke and we will all miss him very much.
